C18. Three storeys pebble-dashed now colour washed. Hipped tiled roof. Two double sashes to each elevation. Early C19 pub front with pilasters and bracket and arched doorcase with keystone. The rear elevation has a doorcase with cornice, moulded architrave and six flush panelled door, the top two panels cut away and glazed.

Nos 1 to 15 (odd) form a group with Nos 1 to 7 (odd) New Street. Nos 5 to 11 (odd) Castle Street are of local interest.
