12 New Street is a timber-framed house dating from the 15th to 16th centuries, which has been stuccoed over. It is a two-storey building with a hipped tiled roof. The first floor has two triple sash windows. The ground floor windows have been modernized, and a built-out bar front extends onto New Street. The property forms a group with the adjacent building at No. 8.
