Description
83A High Street is a timber-framed building that was refronted in the 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, with red brick that has been painted, except for No 87. The building features tiled roofs, with the north-east corner corbelled. There are three gabled dormers and a modillion eaves cornice, with a total of eight windows. All windows are modern, except for No 85, which retains sash windows on the first floor with intact glazing bars. The shop fronts are also modern. Nos 83, 83A, and 85 to 91 (odd) form a group.
