Description
Bridge Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and clad with ragstone and tile hanging on the return elevation, and it has been extended with red brick. The roof is plain tiled and consists of two storeys set on a plinth, with a hipped roof and gablets. There is a stack on the left side, and the roof steps down to a hip and gablet with a stack at the end left, sweeping forward to form a catslide outshot on the left side. At the rear, there is another stack. The first floor has two wooden casements, while the ground floor has one casement and a boarded door to the right. The rear also features a catslide outshot, and the right return elevation indicates an end jetty.
