Description

The stable block, located about 20 metres east of Harville Farmhouse, dates from the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is a single-storey structure with a hipped roof and consists of twenty-one bays. The eastern elevation features vertical boarding, with a boarded door and a casement window in each bay. This stable range was built for Wye Racecourse, which was situated on this site.
