Description
The stable block at Howick Farm is a single-storey building constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It has a long rectangular shape and is positioned at right angles to the main house, approximately 50 meters away. The front of the stable features stable openings facing the yard, while the rear includes two cart openings, three doors, and a window, along with a hay loft window in the gable.
Inside, the stable block is mostly plain but includes a fitted stable with three stalls. The roof is a Victorian machined king-post design.
