Description

Springrove Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with cladding added in the 17th century. It features a timber frame covered with red brick in English bond and has a plain tiled roof. The building has a hall house plan, which has been modified to a lobby entry, and consists of four framed bays. It stands two storeys tall on a plinth, with a hipped roof and gablets. Stacks project from the left end and are clustered towards the centre right. There are three tripartite wooden casements on each floor, along with a small casement located to the centre right above a boarded door. All ground floor openings have segmental heads. Additionally, there is a single storey extension to the left.
