Description
This is an early 19th-century building on Ashford Road. The main part of the house is two storeys high, with a stucco exterior featuring grooves that mimic the appearance of stone. It has a hipped slate roof with an eaves cornice and a string course. There are three windows, including two projecting bay windows on both the ground and first floors, and the original glazing bars remain intact. The door is framed by pilasters and a pediment, topped with a semi-circular fanlight, and incorporates a four-panel moulded door. A three-storey wing, faced in roughcast and featuring a single round-headed window, was added in the late 19th century on the north side. Nos. 21 to 27 form a notable group.
