Description

Nos 21 and 23 Ashford Road is a block of buildings dating from around 1840. The structure has three storeys, with the ground floor made of red brick featuring grey headers, while the upper floors are tile-hung. It has a hipped slate roof with an eaves cornice. There are six sash windows with intact glazing bars. The doorcase is framed with reeded details and has rectangular fanlights along with flat hoods above. No 21 has a modern shop front, while No 23 features a small bay window on the ground floor, although the glazing bars are missing. Nos 21 to 27 (odd) are part of a group of buildings.
