Description

The White House is an 18th-century building of two storeys and attics. It is stuccoed, with a tiled roof featuring two dormers and a modillion eaves cornice. A stringcourse runs along the facade. The building has three windows. The ground floor features Venetian windows with painted Gothic panes in the upper portions of the central window. Above, there are three-light, square-headed windows with pilasters between the lights, all retaining their original glazing bars. The doorway has a rusticated doorcase with Ionic pilasters, a pediment, and a six-panel moulded door, where the top two panels are cut away and glazed. The White House is part of a group of buildings, comprising numbers 31 to 37.
