Description

No. 5 Ashford Road is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics. The ground floor is constructed of brick, while the first floor features tile-hanging over timber framing. The roof is tiled and includes one dormer. There are two sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. A later bay has been added to the ground floor. The entrance has a simple doorcase with a half-hood supported by brackets. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 13 (odd).
