Description

Nos 8 and 10 Priestgate is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice and brick coped gable ends. The facade includes two windows that have rusticated lintels with carved keystones, and the top floor retains its original glazing bars, while the ground floor has been replaced. The entrance doors are made up of six fielded panels and have an oblong fanlight set in reeded frames, topped with a rusticated lintel and keystone. This building is part of a group that includes No 4 and Nos 6 to 26 (even).
