Description

Number 19 on Priestgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from colour-washed brick with a pantile roof and a dentil cornice. The façade features three flush windows, which are hung sashes without glazing bars, set beneath flat painted arches that include keystones. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is topped by an oblong fanlight, all framed within a Doric surround that has pilasters and an entablature. To the right of the main entrance, there is a simple yard door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 3 to 7 (odd), No 7A, and Nos 9 to 19 (odd).
