Description

22 Priestgate is a late 16th century building featuring two storeys constructed from red brick. It has a pantile roof, a brick eaves cornice, and stone coped gable ends, with a kneeler on the left side. The facade includes two flush windows with hung sashes that have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is one window and a door made up of six fielded panels, set within a plain surround and topped by an oblong fanlight. A foot scraper is present, and there is an additional door to the right. This building is part of a group that includes No 4 and Nos 8 to 26 (even).
