Description

Number 9 Priestgate is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from painted brick and topped with a pantile roof featuring a moulded wood cornice. The façade includes one window on each storey, both set in reveals and featuring hung sashes with glazing bars. Each window is adorned with a rusticated lintel that has a keystone. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is located beneath an oblong fanlight with ornamental glazing bars. The door surround includes narrow panels, consoles, and an entablature. To the right of the main building, there is a one-storey garage extension. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 7 (odd), No 7A, and Nos 9 to 19 (odd).
