Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings located at 7 and 7A Priestgate. They are three storeys high, constructed of colour-washed brick with a pantile roof and a moulded eaves cornice supported by brackets. The building has three windows per floor. The windows are flush-hung sashes, with patterned (glazing beta) glass to the top floor only. The ground and first-floor windows are set within cambered arches. A Doric door surround frames the entrance. A modern door with a rectangular fanlight is present at 7A. Buildings 5 to 7 (odd numbers), 7A, and 9 to 19 (odd numbers) form a group.
