Description

Old Timbers and Jeans is a former house that has been converted into an office and shop. It dates from the late medieval period and features a timber frame consisting of three bays. The building was reclad in the 18th century and has late 19th to early 20th century rendering with some altered features. The walls are rendered, and the building has a steep and prominent tile roof. The northwest front is two storeys high and has three windows. The upper windows are casements, while the ground floor includes one splayed bay and a shopfront beneath a continuous canopy. There is an old doorway with a reeded architrave and a curved hood, along with a shop door. Inside, much of the timber frame is still visible, and the upper three rooms extend over the shop.
