The Anchorage is a house that originally has a timber-framed structure, with early 19th-century cladding and early 20th-century details. The walls are rendered, and it features a steep tile roof with a half-hip that rises above the ridge in the center. The north-west front has two storeys and two windows, with upper casements and ground-floor splayed bays. There is a six-panelled door set in a plain frame.
