Description

The Moors is a mid-18th century and later 18th century house located on Highfield Road, near Colden Common. It is a two-story, double-pile brick building with an older range to the rear. The front facade is three bays wide, featuring a central porch with a flat hood and a timber lattice work floor, composed of six flush panels. Flanking the porch are sixteen-pane sash windows, each set within a gauged brick arch. Above, on the first floor, are two similar sashes with a panel of blue brick headers between them. The roof is hipped, with toothed eaves and external brick stacks at each end.
