Description
The Manor House, now divided into two dwellings, is a 17th-century manor house with a wing added in the early 19th century and 20th-century alterations to the windows. It features reused dressed stone arranged in chequerwork with flint, brick gables, and a roof covered in old plain tiles. The original structure consists of two stories and an attic, with two gables at the front and a small wing added to the rear on the left. In the 19th century, a front range was added to the left side of this wing, along with a low two-story bay on the right end.
The 17th-century front displays two gables, with a two-story arch beneath the right gable and windows set back behind it. The ground floor has three 20th-century steel casements, one of which is in a recess, while the first floor has 20th-century two-light steel casements and a four-light window in a recess. The gables are made of brick and feature two-light casements. To the right of the arch, there is a large external brick stack, with an 18th-century brick addition beyond that has a hipped roof and three-light steel casements.
The small wing on the left has a hipped roof and two-light stone mullions. The 18th-century front includes a central stuccoed arch leading to a six-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight above. The ground floor has 12-pane sash windows with rubbed brick heads, and there is an eaves cornice above the first-floor windows. The building has a hipped roof with stacks at the rear.
