Description

This milestone, located 300 meters northeast of the entrance to Burntwood Farm, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is made of white painted stone and features a rectangular shape with a rounded top. One side of the stone has the original inscription "To Winto 4 MILES," while the opposite side has holes for a later cast iron plate.
