Description

The house at Pinns Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with additions and alterations in the early 19th century and late 20th century. The walls are constructed of brickwork of varying periods, in English bond for the older section. A section of the front wall incorporates flintwork with 17th-century chamfered brick dressings and rubbed flat arches. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The west front displays four phases of construction and has an irregular arrangement of four windows on two storeys. The windows are a mix of casements and sashes, including one triple sash window, and a French door. A 20th-century doorway is sheltered by a tiled canopy supported on posts, and a French door is also present.
