Description

This barn and cartshed range, dating from the 18th century, is located 35 meters northeast of Park Farmhouse. It consists of two builds and features a timber-frame structure weatherboarded on flint and brick plinths, topped with an old plain tile roof. The barn has four bays, while the cartshed, which is at a higher level, also has four bays. On the farmyard side, there is a pent-roofed porch with a slated roof, although the entrance is blocked in the third bay from the right. The opposite side has an open bay, and the cartshed bays to the left are also open. The roof is continuous and half-hipped. Inside the barn, there is a Queen-post roof with curved braces to the ties, and the cartshed features a Queen-strut roof.
