Description
A group of eight headstones for the Doswell and Courtney families is located 12 meters southwest of the porch of St Mary's Church. These headstones date from the early to mid-18th century and feature carved stones with embellished heads. The inscriptions include Edward and John Doswell from 1720/9, Robert Courtney from 1750, John Courtney from 1722, Joseph Doswell from 1733, Alice Doswell and Ambrose and Alice Courtney from 1731, and William and Sarah Courtney from 1779, as well as Josiah and Martha Doswell from 1769.
