Description
The Tally Ho Public House is an early 18th-century building located on the west side of Broughton High Street. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features an old plain tile roof. The structure is two stories high with an attic and has three bay outshots at the rear. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set in a moulded frame, topped by a flat hood supported by heavy moulded brackets. On either side of the door are 19th-century four-pane sash windows. A string course runs along the first floor, where a bullseye window is centrally located, flanked by two more 19th-century four-pane sash windows. The eaves are coved and moulded, and there are stacks at each end and behind the ridge of the roof. Additionally, there are two flat-roofed dormers situated on the ridge.
