Description

Two tombchests and two headstones for the Hattatt family are located southwest of the south aisle of St Mary's Church. These memorials date from the early to mid-18th century. They feature carved headstones and tombchests with Portland stone lids set on brick walls. The tombchest for Mary Hattatt is dated 1767, while that for John Hattatt is from 1789. The headstones include one for Nicholas Touton from 1729 and another for Sarah Hattatt from 1744.
