Description

Bourne House is an early 19th-century brick house with a slate roof, featuring two storeys and three bays in a double pile layout. The central porch is made of timber and glass, gabled in style, and is supported by brick walls, with a half-glazed door at the front. On either side of the porch are 16-pane sash windows. Above, there are shorter sash windows with a fixed window in the centre that has a 'snowflake' glazing pattern. All windows are set beneath rendered heads, and there are stacks at both ends of the building. This house is included for its group value.
