Description
The granary located 30 meters south of North Houghton Manor is an 18th-century structure. It features a timber-frame construction that is weatherboarded and supported on stone staddle stones. The granary has a roof covered with old plain tiles and consists of three bays, resting on 15 staddle stones. The building has a central door with a window to the left, and the roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is an inserted floor and a queen-post roof, which includes curved braces supporting the tiebeams.
