Description

This granary, located 10 metres north of Houghton Lodge, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and rests on six staddle stones, with a slate roof above. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a door located at one end. It has likely been used more recently as a game larder.
