Description
The service range located immediately east of Houghton Manor House is a Grade II listed building, originally constructed as stables in the mid-18th century. It features chequer brickwork and timber scantling in the gables, topped with an old plain tile roof. The structure is a single storey with seven bays. The front displays original openings with Dutch arches, and the third bay from the left, which originally had double doors, has been converted to a glazed opening. Each bay contains either a two-light casement window or a glazed door. Above the central bay, there is a hipped dormer with a 12-pane window, and a blue brick eaves course runs along the top.
