HOUGHTON HOUGHTON 8u 3432 12/6 Elm Tree Cottage GV II Cottage. C16 altered C18. Timber-frame with colourwashed brick infill and addition. Shingle roof, formerly thatched. Central C19 half-glazed 4-panel door under pent-roofed hood. Each side 2-light casement. Above 2-light casement in gabled dormer. Roof half-hipped with ridge stack above door. Outshot a sweptdown roof extended from half-hip.
