BROUGHTON HIGH STREET (west side) SU 3032 11/8 Barn 40m NW of Old Church Farmhouse. GV II Barn. C18, Brick with some flint and cob areas, asbestos sheet roof replacing thatch. 5 bay barn. Front has farmyard falling right to left. Stable doors in all but right of centre bay under segmental heads. Steps up to right door. Roof half-hipped. Inside unusual roof of queen-posts on floor beams of hay loft attached halfway up to tiebeams between wallplates. Included for group value.
