Description

Upper Ashfield Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features brick walls laid in Flemish bond with rubbed flat arches. The roof is tiled, and there are brick dentil eaves. The west front is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys with four windows, which are sashes in exposed frames. The porch has two columns and two pilasters in a simple Doric style, although the original pediment has been replaced with a steeper gable. The entrance door is a six-panelled design, with the top two panels being glazed.
