Description

This is a barn located 10 meters south of Sharpe's Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It features a timber-frame construction that is weatherboarded and stands on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof. The barn consists of five bays and has an outshot at the rear. The front has central double doors, with a window and a door located in the left bays. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is a Queen-post roof with straight braces supporting the tiebeams, and the posts are set on brick piers with ties to the baseplate, along with some long diagonal braces in the walls.
