Description

This building is a barn and stables dating from the 18th century, located 20 meters southeast of Manor Farmhouse on the north side of Winchester Road in Kings Somborne. The structure features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a brick plinth, with the stable wall made of brick and cob. The roofs are thatched, with the barn consisting of four bays and doors located in the left two bays, a loft situated between the bays, and windows on the roadside. The right end of the building contains a low four-bay stable with stable doors in the left bays. The roof is hipped, and inside the barn, there is a queen-strut roof.
