Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house that originated in the 16th century and was remodeled in the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 20th century. It has a timber-frame core, featuring flint and brick bands, along with brick dressings and additions, and parts that are tile-hung. The 17th-century section facing the road is two storeys high and three bays deep. To the right, there is a set-back, one-and-a-half storey, two-bay double pile wing, which is partly from the 16th century. This wing has a planked door with a segmental head on the left, and a three-light casement window on the first floor. On the left side of the 17th-century part, there is a 20th-century door in the gable, and a four-light casement window from the 17th century in the right gable. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window from the 19th century on the left and a steel window from the 20th century on the right. The gables are tile-hung. Between the 17th-century sections, there are stacks with two or three diamond shafts and offset heads, which have been partly rebuilt.
