Description

This is a barn located 10 meters northwest of Critchells Green Farmhouse, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a plinth made of brick and flint, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn has five bays, with a single bay from the 17th century and an 18th-century wing at the front of the left bay, which has been shortened. There are double doors in the center bay, and to the right of the bays, there is a 19th-century cartshed lean-to with a slate roof and brick piers. Additional doors are located to the left of the center bay and in the side of the left wing, along with windows. The roof is half-hipped.
