Description

This milestone, located 25 metres northeast of the junction with Crampmoor Lane, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of painted stone and features a cast-iron plate. The rectangular, flat-topped stone has a large cast-iron plate on the front, which is inscribed with the distances to Winchester (9 miles) and Romsey (2 miles).
