Description
Chirk Lodge is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features a slate hipped roof and has two flat-roofed dormers. The exterior is stuccoed and includes a moulded cornice and parapet. The building has three windows, which are sash windows set in reveals; the glazing bars remain intact on the first floor only. The central doorway has a panelled door with the upper part glazed, situated in panelled reveals. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a frieze, and a flat hood above. There is an extension at the back of the building, which consists of one bay to the north-west. Above this extension, there is one sash window with a slightly segmental arch, and below it, there is a late 19th-century square bay window with five lights.
