Description

Gunville Gatehouse is a mid 19th century, single storey, three bay brick tollhouse. It features a projecting hexagonal central bay that creates a truncated 'T' plan. The projecting bay has narrow observation windows on three sides and a doorway with a small wooden porch on the fourth side. The roof is covered in red tiles and includes a central brick chimney stack, with string coursing below the eaves. The simple rectangular windows are adorned with heavy, white painted cross hatching.
