Description
The Bishop Blaize Public House is an 18th-century building located on Winchester Road. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a tiled gabled roof with two hipped dormers that contain two-light casement windows. The exterior is made of painted brick and includes three two-light casement windows with architrave frames on the first floor. The ground floor has a 19th-century or later projection with a slate roof, which houses two three-light sash windows. There is a central glazed door with an architrave frame and a fanlight above it. At the east end, there is a taller single-storey extension with a slate gabled roof, and a modern extension is located at the west end. A plaque on the building indicates that it was erected in 1708.
