Description
86 The Hundred is a Grade II listed building from the 18th century. It is three storeys high with three window bays and one bay deep, topped by a tiled hipped roof. The building is constructed of red brick and features a moulded cornice and parapet.
On the second floor, there are three square sash windows with architrave frames and rubbed brick voussoirs. The first floor has three taller windows, with the centre window being semi-circular headed. These windows also have architrave frames, but the glazing bars are missing, and they feature rubbed brick voussoirs.
On the ground floor to the west, there is a modern bow window in a contemporary style. To the east, there are contemporary shop windows with glazing bars and a central door, along with a plain fascia and a modern window blind cover over both the windows and door.
Additionally, there is an early 19th-century two-storey addition to the east that includes a vestibule and doorway. This doorway features a six-panelled door set in panelled reveals, with an impost moulding and a semi-circular fanlight above. Fluted Doric pilasters flank the doorway on the east side, and there is a moulded cornice above.
