Description
This is an 18th-century building, altered subsequently. It is a two-story and attic structure with a projecting stucco plinth. A moulded brick string runs at first-floor level, and stucco quoins are visible at the first floor. The first-floor windows have stucco bonding sides and sills. The eaves feature a coved brick cornice, and the roof is hipped with old tile covering, some of which has been renewed. Three dormers, dating to the 19th century, are present. There are five windows on the first floor, with the central window flanked by stucco pilasters. The ground floor has four sash windows with architrave frames and painted stucco voussoirs. The central door is a six-panel design set in a deep reveal, and it is framed by a painted stone doorcase consisting of three-quarter engaged Doric columns, a broken entablature, a fluted frieze, a moulded cornice, and a moulded, dentilled open pediment. A pointed arched fanlight with an interlacing glazing pattern is above the door. Five stone steps lead up to the entrance.
