Description

Marston is a cottage dating from the 16th century, with late 18th century and minor 20th century renovations. It features a timber frame with brick nogging on two elevations and brick encasing on the rest, topped with a thatched roof. The building has three bays and is one storey high with an attic. It includes 20th century oak doors in a plain frame, irregularly placed casement windows, some of which have cast iron frames dating from around 1830, and eyebrow dormers. The roof is hipped and sweeps down at one end.
