Description
The Thatched Cottage Public House, formerly known as Old Thatched Cottage, is a 16th-century timber-framed house located on Prospect Road in Farnborough. The building features an exposed frame that displays the main and subsidiary timbers along with diagonal strutting. It has a thatched roof with hips, half-hips, and half-gables, and the eaves level varies. One upper wall is adorned with red tile-hanging. The property includes casement windows and two modern gabled porches, each with a tiled roof. Modern additions are not of special interest.
