Description
The Church of St Christopher, built in 1934 by W Curtis Green, is located on Cove Road in Farnborough. It is constructed of brick with Portland stone dressings and features a steeply pitched tiled roof, which has clerestory windows presented as a row of dormers. The roof extends down to the ground floor eaves level. The interior is aisleless, with narrow passages outside the timber piers that support an elaborately braced roof. There is a single large lancet window at either end of the church. The building includes north and south gabled porches and a north vestry extension. The narrow sanctuary projects to the east of a short choir, and the interior is plain and rendered.
