Description
Talk's Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of brick with a thatched roof. It is two storeys high and features a five-bay front that faces the road, with a one-bay wing extending to the rear along the road. The front of the house includes a six-panel door located in the second bay from the road, which is sheltered by an open-fronted, gabled porch with trellis sides. On either side of the door, there are 12-pane sash windows, and on the first floor, there are three 9-pane sash windows. The next bay is a blank stack bay, followed by a straight joint before the far bay, which has a three-light camber-headed casement window and a three-light casement window above it. The roof is half-hipped and features a central ridge stack.
