Description
Stock's Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and features seven narrow bays, along with a wing at the rear on one end. The front of the farmhouse has a centrally located, full-height gabled porch that projects outward, which contains a two-panel door beneath a radiating semi-circular fanlight. Above the porch, there is a 12-pane sash window set under a cambered arch. A double raised band runs around the porch and the facade at the first floor level. On either side of the porch, there are small lights. The right-hand and left-hand centre bays each have 12-pane sash windows on both floors, with the ground floor windows positioned under cambered arches. The remaining bays feature plastered blind cambered openings. The farmhouse is topped with a dentil cornice, and there are triangular dormers on each side of the centre. The gable ends have stacks for chimneys.
