Description
Little Pound Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 20th century and is now used as a cottage. The building is constructed of rubble ironstone, with the upper part and an addition made of painted brick, topped with a thatched roof. It is two storeys high and has two original bays, with an added bay at one end and a low service range at the other. The front features a plank door sheltered by a thatch hood supported by posts, situated between the original bays. There are two-light casements on either side of the door, and the added bay on the left has three-light casements. The roof is hipped, with a ridge stack located on the left side of the original structure. On the right side, there is a low painted brick and tile section.
