Description

Milestone located opposite the entrance to Burley Manor Hotel. It was made in 1802 by surveyors H Bromfield and features a painted stone construction. The milestone has a square section with a rounded top and an inscription on the front that reads, "To, Ringwood, 5, Christchurch, 8, Lymington, 9, Miles," along with the surveyor's details.
